Hello! How are you doing today? I hope you’re having a good time.
Right now, I’m driving back home on a rainy night. It’s kind of nice. The roads are a bit slippery, but I am liking the ride. I’m driving slowly through a beautiful patch of green trees, and the street lights and their reflections are creating a lovely ambience.
I think this is my third transcribed blog. Basically, I record my voice and transcribe it using the iPhone Voice Memos app. When I’m done, I share the transcript with Claude and tell it not to change anything, just to divide the text into paragraphs and fix grammar mistakes. Then I proofread it and post it.
Of course, the way I speak and the way I write are two different things. Being a good writer doesn’t mean you are a good orator, though I doubt it is that different. If you’re a good writer, you can be a good speaker too. It’s just a matter of starting to talk and starting to share.
So in the future, I will continue doing this, and I’m excited that I’ll be able to reach out to you more often than I did earlier. There is calmness in my mind and in my heart. My fingers are not hurting. I’m able to speak freely and share deeply with you. What else do two souls need to communicate, my friend? I hope you are feeling good. And do share if you find any differences between my older blogs, which I used to write, and these.
I strongly believe that we live in an astonishing world, and out of their curiosity and imagination, humans always build, or try to build, a better world: a beautiful world, a loving world.
I think I need a transcribing app that can talk back to me. Maybe it could narrate my words back to me, or maybe not, because narration would be too much. Maybe it could talk to me like a human in a conversation: “These were the words or phrases I couldn’t understand. What did you mean by that? Can you please rephrase it so I can save it?” Then I would respond. I think that could help a lot of people write more.
At the same time, I wonder how many people actually like reading nowadays, especially digitally. I like to read too. I think it is fantastic, and it is one of the fundamental ways for us to learn. We can hear things, read things or watch things to learn them. So reading is always going to be with us.
However, reading on a digital screen strains your eyes, so it is not the best way to read. I think Kindle needs some competition: products that let people read digital work without straining their eyes much. Right now, Kindle is Amazon’s monopoly, and there is no other well-known product like it. Or maybe I’m unaware and haven’t done enough research. I will do it.
But my point is that the world is moving towards faster consumption of information. Many people no longer read each and every web page on the internet like they used to. Instead, they ask their AI agent to do it for them. I feel bad for websites that were built only for that kind of browsing, because they can no longer earn much from advertising.
So the world is indeed moving towards rapid automation: less labour and repetitive work, and more creativity, imagination, accountability and courage.
I am a Hindu, and from my reading of the scriptures, people in ancient times used to do things for themselves, because they had the technology to create things whenever and wherever they wanted. These are just my observations, but it seems that civilisation was very advanced back then, and many technologies existed that were either destroyed or forgotten, because nobody was left to tell anyone about them.
It shows me the importance of information conservation. That is one of the things I really like about Bitcoin, or I could say blockchain. But blockchain is a technology, while Bitcoin is a culture, blockchain is an agreement, Bitcoin is a way of life. Bitcoin is the ledger, acting as both the database and the currency.
The world is moving towards quantum computing and AI, which demand more and more energy. Chips are getting smaller and more powerful. Hard drives are getting smaller while their capacity increases. So the trend is in favour of Bitcoin’s technology.
If we can sustain ourselves as a civilisation and live a thousand more years on Earth, there will be a thousand years of history that nobody can dispute. Right now bitcoin is open, anybody can put anything on it. It will cost you, but you can do it.
That is the reason I decided to put my book on Bitcoin. I wrote the book myself and kept it with me for roughly one and a half years. I didn’t know how to take it forward. Then I joined the Bitcoin community, and I decided that this was the way.
Through this journey, I also realised that this could be a way for many writers and authors, people who like to write and share their views. Let’s be honest: everybody wants to share their views. Everybody wants to feel understood, and everybody wants to express their own version of reality and be understood.
There is no question that humans want to express themselves or not. They love to. You can express yourself by making videos, podcasts and audio, or you can write, or start your own show and just start talking. Every way of expressing yourself has its own beauty and experience. And like I said, in the future, people will want to strain their eyes less, and read only what is useful or what they love.
I am hoping that my book will still be available a thousand years from now, in 3026. Just imagine how amazing that would be. I’m speaking these words right now, and you are reading them. I don’t know when you are reading this. Maybe right after I posted it, and you lived through these times with me. Or maybe you are reading it in 3026. I’m talking to you, man! That would be a great idea for my next blog, where I talk to a random person who might be reading my words.
But the important point is this: find what you love, give it your time and energy, and then go for it.
One last thing before I digress further: suggest topics and titles you want me to talk about. I will try my best to be well researched, and if not well researched, then at least honest.
Wishing you love from here. Keep pushing. Keep listening to your heart. Keep the balance, keep it up and keep going.
Love and Luck.
