Public Speaking in 2nd language.

What makes you nervous?

Hello my friend, how are you doing today? I hope you had a great start of the week, and it will turnout to be a successful one for you.

I like public speaking, let me clear that first. I am never shy of doing it. But when I have to do it in a language other than my native tongue, it gets tricky.

Like English is my second language. I can write well in it, as I have written a lot in my life, I guess. But speaking impromptu is always a challenge.

Although, I manage to speak fluent english, I still struggle to find a right word while speaking. And when you are searching for right words in a arena full of people, it adds a bit of pressure for sure.

I know the only way to improve is through practice and hence I am doing it. Improving day by day, and I know I will master it sooner than I think.

The key for me is consistency, which is often hard to achieve, but is the only way to succeed. It takes a lot of will power and discipline to be consistent. That is why they are they key to success.

I wish you enough strength to keep going, and stay consistent. I wish that you grow and succeed gloriously.

My best wishes to you.

Love and Luck.

    1. Thanks for sharing your thoughts. I would say, practicing in front of a mirror, while looking directly in your own eyes, helps. 🙂

Once you reach the stage, remember the learnings from Bhagwad Gita. There is no turning back.

      Have a good day.

    1. Thanks for sharing. I wish you best of luck for your future public speaking event. I guess when we start searching for words we fumble. If we can try to go with the flow, words do come to us naturally. Also, it is a factor of how much we practice speaking, writing, reading in that language. Great to connect with you here. Have a good day ahead.
