Expensive Food: Not worth.

What’s the most money you’ve ever spent on a meal? Was it worth it?

Hello my friend, how are you doing today? Happy Tuesday to you, may you have a great week ahead. I don’t know, how is the weather at your side of the globe.

Its rainy season here, so the temperature is a bit pleasant. Only catch is that if it doesn’t rain for a day or two, it is so humid. Uufff!!

Anyways, When we say expensive food, it is hardly because of the ingredients of that dish, rather most of the time, the cost of food is determined by the place, where it is served.

If you open a fancy restaurant at a premium location, with high rent, the food have to be expensive. It doesn’t necessarily means that it will be tasty too.

I have eaten at so many good places, and the food was bad, I have been to ok-ok places, and the food was good. And vice versa.

So, ultimately Food and Money has no correlation, except the quality of ingredients and the charges of the chef.

So, it has to be right in this way, at the core of cooking, pure ingredients and the skills of the cook.

I wish you a great day, my friend. Keep building, and keep winning.

Love and Luck.

  1. Couldn’t agree more and I have never thought about it that way. I have always thought that food and money have a correlation but now that i think about it they don’t…lol we learn as we go. Have a good week ahead too. The weather on my side is cold but I like it like this, well not entirely because now I am at work but hey

  2. Absolutely true… I have been disappointed too many times, and more so with the expensive venues. I sometimes wonder how they justify the cost with the same ingredients as a cheaper venue that is tastier, more enjoyable and only around half the price sometimes.

    1. True! The cost of food outside, is not just food. It is rent of the place, then utility bills, staff salary, furniture.
Some folks like to spend too much on the visuals, they often forget about the core value of a restaurant.

Thanks for sharing your views. I wish you a fantastic day ahead.
