Not enough! I guess.

How often do you say “no” to things that would interfere with your goals?

Hello my friend, how are you doing today? Today its a Holi festival in India, and I had a good time today with my friends and family.

Good question today, and very intriguing one too. I do say ‘No’ to a lot of things, that interfere with my goals, I do it alot, but not always.

Sometimes it makes me feel that may be I am not giving my 100%. May be I should continue with the grind all the time.

At the same time, I believe in keeping the balance of life, and enjoy the journey. All I want to know, what is the right amount of hustle, grind, and relaxation.

I really want to know, I would be elated, if you can share your perspective in the comments, and guide me on what the best balance.

Looking forward to hear from you.

Love and luck.

  1. You have to listen to your higher self, or your ‘gut’, and seek joy. If that means saying no sometimes to work related things….then so be it. You and yours are the most important to you. Best…Jay😊

      1. No worries Rj👍, you are welcome. I understand what you are saying, but based on that philosophy, that would mean your ‘brain’ and the ‘you’, or ‘us’, are in fact two separate entities, otherwise the brain would be trying to fool itself? Which would be highly improbable, if you see what I mean. Best…Jay

      2. Yeah! Loved your reply. I think our brain also function as a big database. It keeps recording our sensory organs inputs. Both that we recognise and ignore.

Our judgement is predominantly based on the memory we can quickly access. And the data that we cannot access, which is a lot actually, contribute through a system, which is our inner voice.

We just know something, we don’t know why?

      3. No worries Rj, you are most welcome, it is an intriguing subject. You could be right of course. Our individual assumption always comes from our individual perspective. The 2 schools of thought are that ‘we’, our conscious witnessing, either arises from the brain, our lies elsewhere outside of the brain. I doubt whether we will ever truly know, as we don’t have full disclosure, so it depends on your belief. Personally I think ‘we’ are beyond the brain. Kind regards, Jay
