Future! I don’t live in past.

Do you spend more time thinking about the future or the past? Why?

Hello my friend, how are you doing today? How is winter season running for you? I just find it impossible to come out of my warm bed in winter season.

Today, I brought some coal and wood, and made some bonfire. This was the first time for this season, and it took a lot of time. I guess, I need to practice my fire making skills.

I try to live in present, I try. I do think of future more than I think of past. Sometimes, life is in such a mode, when we just can’t forget the past, and that past also influence our thoughts of future.

There is no point of living in past, if it was good, it is history, if it was bad, it is again a history. The only way to stay happy is to be in present.

We all want to be happy. And to be same, we either think of past, the good times. And sometimes we think of future, and great things that can happen with us.

The only sustainable way to stay happy is to stay happy in present, without thinking of past or future. Some of the way to do this is to spend time with friends and family, follow your passion.

All in all, I want you to stay happy, and hopeful. Keep going.

Love and Luck.

  1. I think it’s best to be flexible Rajan. Sometimes we need the past to help us make decisions in the present about the future. I think all we differ in is our definition of history. For me history is a set of forces that flow from the past into our present. Once we grasp them, we might be able to mould them into a future
But to ignore them might be dangerous and a future form.around you with less elements of your choosing. I think in other blogs you have illustrated that very thing, – in how you took control of a failed relationship for instance to determine a better stance in the future when new opportunities for new relationships come along. At em man. The future is yours. But, whether you agree or not, stay friends. We are so different but I learn from you. X

    1. Wow Steven, that is an excellent take. You are right we cannot ignore our past, and it is wise to learn and get inspired from it. May be at that time, my mood tilted my POV towards bad times of the past, even though I have lived some excellent times as well.
Thanks for reminding me. For taking out time. Your words recharged me again. Haha.

Majorly I was trying to push the narrative that our place should be in ‘present’ 100 times more often, than it should be in the past or future.

Lots of Love and Luck to you my friend.
