Yes! Violence to Proficiency

How have your political views changed over time?

Hello friend, very dashing Thursday to you. I wish you lot of success and good times. Hope you will have a fantastic closure of 2023.

I come from India, that have seen tremendous changes in the 76 years of it s free history. It has seen acute poverty, violence, and what not.

When I was a kid, the politics was all about fighting on the ground, as a result of which, many goons were politicians, or vice versa.

There were many kind of discriminative narrative in the society, that required war, and hence earlier, the politicians were required to be part of ground battles.

There were no digital medium, and election campaigns were run on ground, making them directly beneficial for the rich to go forward.

Recently, our world has changed. With social media, the whole world is in our grasp. Hence, a leader doesn’t necessarily require ground presence, to reach out to his/her community.

But to enter their heart, of course ground presence is strictly advisable. The focus of politics has shifted now on good governance.

Since, 2014 as per me. The focus of government is shifted to effective implementation, and deeper partnerships with private sector players.

The politician today is required to be holding the pulse of its people, not only on the ground, but also on the digital realm.

There was a time, when we needed resurgence of communities, now is the time for the prosperity of everyone, attacking any discrimination.

I believe I am a Leader, not a politician yet. My governance will be transparent and in-discriminatory at all cost.

My Love and Luck to you.

Keep pushing.

  1. Do you know Vikram Seth’s novel, ‘A Suitable Boy’. You remind me here of the idealistic aspirations of that novel in its young men. It made me want to go to India more than anywhere in the world. There is a wonderful but different BBC series of the book too. Always worth seeing. X
