Tell us about your first day at something — school, work, as a parent, etc.
Hello my friend. How are you doing? Today I got late in sharing this prompt, as it was a busy day in the office.
We have so many first times, from time to time. I can tell you an instance which was my first time. When it was my first day in my Engineering college back in 2010.
It is so exciting and frightening when we enter a place full of new people, and we know we have to spend at least 4 years more, here.
We have no friends, just like everyone else. It is time to take leaps of faith, start trusting people, and time to get used to a new place everyday.
When I was there sitting on a bench, surrounded with unfamiliar people, I didn’t know some of them will become so important part of my life.
In early days, we used to move around in a big group of friends. And, one day a senior guy came to us, and said it is great that you folks are hanging out, but as the time will pass, you would be lucky if you still have real friendship with even 2 people, from this big group.
At that time, we laughed, oh we were feeling like a troop. Haha. But then, 4 years passed. And I managed to make 3 friends. We were a group for 4 friends, and let me tell you.
A core group made of 4 problem creating individuals, is a Nuclear Bomb. Haha. It is the smallest stable unit of people, balancing each other.
This is my theory of course, no scientific validations. But, you can observe it yourself. My friend. Look around. Do share if you find something supporting or contradicting.
Well, good question today. Made me reflect so much.
