My Macbook Pro

Name the most expensive personal item you’ve ever purchased (not your home or car).

Hello my love, how are you? Firstly, wish you a very Happy Diwali from India. It is one of the most prominent festival of India. And my favourite too.

When I read the question, it took me a while to identify a costly item I have purchased. I do own a car, but that is disqualified already by the question.

I also went into thinking of considering me as a minimalist. But, I swiftly realized, that it would be a bit too far stretched.

So, the thing is, that my maximum spent is on experiences, not things. Though, I like to wear durable and fashionable clothes & shoes. But that is about it in terms of my lavish spending.

Second, I am the youngest of 3 brothers. 🙂 Thank you god. Haha.

So many good things I have, are gifted with love. And, I am so fortunate to god for the same.

This also pushes me to be kind and humble to others, to reciprocate the kindness, god has bestowed to me.

After a lot of digging, I did find an expensive things, which is my Macbook Pro. My ex girlfriend did the complete transaction in one go on my credit card, though I wanted it on installement. I don’t regret it, its just that it happened for the first time to me.

I usually break credit in EMIs. I do pay interest, as compensation to the time I get, to earn more, and pay back.

Credit is a good tool, we should use it for our benefit, wisely. We should focus on generating or fattening, new or existing revenue lines, respectively.

I wish for you, that you buy and enjoy a lot of expensive stuff in life, reminding you the joys of life, and the reason deserving your daily hustle.

Build your life, upwards and onwards. My love to you.

XOXO

  1. I have avoided this question like the plague though as usual you show me how it can be done with some wit and style. But … So many questions left hanging. What about ditching the diet on that girlfriend with whom you entrusted your credit card. I send a funny story here. But you are too chivalrous to tell it dear man. X
A tense mystery often better when left to the imagination I suppose, good guy. X

    1. Haha.. Steven, you always amaze me with your keen eye. I had to buy a laptop for my side gigs. My office laptop was too restricted.
It was completely ok to do the full swipe, I just mentioned it as a story related to my purchase of an expensive personal item.
May be she got too excited for me, and forgot the emi options. 😂
