How do you manage screen time for yourself?
Hello my friends, how are you doing today? Hope all great at your end.
While thinking of this question, after reading it on the screen, I gave it a thought, and now writing about it on the screen.
Post this, I have to do a few emails as my office work, that too while staring at the screen. Later in the evening, I have to meet a friend of mine, and we have some work to sort out a Laptop.
Post which I have to travel to my home town, and would require a bit of Maps to be seen on screen. Followed by this, when I lie on bed, I might check my socials, Bitcoin Market Price, or could see a series episode on Netflix.
All in all, when I do my workout, and when I sleep, other than that most of the time, I am looking at a screen for one reason or another.
So, there is now no question of managing screen time, my life is on the screen it self. May be in future augmented reality can help us get rid of screens, but that technology is still far from being mass adopted.
I just try not to waste much time on the screen, and try to make the best of the time, I am ruining my eyes.
Sad truth of today. I wish you all the best in accepting the same. My love to you, and best regards.
XOXO

I love the way the prose style here demonstrates the rush and hustle of ‘not managing the time’. The thing with your writing and why I like it is that it dramatises its theme, making the reader participate in the sensations evoked by the subject you wrote about. Keep at it maestro. X

Thank you Steven. You have a keen eye. I congratulate you for it. Also, thanks for always being so generous in your love.
Indeed, I try to encourage my readers to imagine and learn from what they visualise and feel at that moment.
Your support pushes me to keep going. And, I cant thank you enough for it. 🙏

I opt not to read other responses to the prompt before I write my own but I really appreciate what you said here. I too am on my phone quite a lot. It’s where I do almost everything, along with my laptop. But to be fair, I do visit irl with people every single day, and exercise outside most days of the week. So it could be worse, I think, if what I was doing on my phone was mostly wasting time.
Do you wear blue light glasses? Wearing those in the evening has been such a balm to my eyes. The best kind have amber lenses and I’ve been wearing them for about 6 months. Extremely worth it.
Such a great post you have written here!

Thanks for your kind words Susan. I am glad you liked it.
I do wear specs, and they have this ‘blue cut lenses’ even I put my phone to night mode. Just trying what I can, and keep going. No hiding from the screens anymore.
