A window on a cliff: The Perfect Writing Spot!

Hello, how are you doing? It has been a while since I prompted. Today, I was feeling a bit lost, so I thought of reaching out.

Life gets busy, then busier, and with the tide of time, while doing stuff we think is important, we often miss the things we love.

I liked the prompt question today. What could be a perfect writing and reading place? This makes me remember a time when I was doing my MBA in a beautiful hill station. I rented a room in the mountains with my girlfriend.

The building was situated near the edge of a cliff, and there was a large window in the room. Through the window, we could see the complete valley, and the view was mesmerising. It was also the time when I was freelancing and blogging very actively.

My study table was in front of the window. There was a constant melodious chirping of birds and the rustling of nearby trees. Lost in my thoughts, I used to stare at the valley endlessly. That setup fuelled my imagination to the fullest. I wrote some of my best work in that room.

I believe that when we have open spaces in front of us, we get more creative. Like all our imagination needs that space to flourish. At the same time, a confined space confines our minds. In my view.

So, a comfortable chair, a lamp, a view of a valley or sea, and the voice of nature make the best writing and reading spot for me.

Whatever you do, if you love to do it, keep going. One day, when you look back and connect the dots, it will all make sense.

Love and Luck
