45 Days can change your life.

Describe something you learned in high school.

Hello my friend, how are you doing today? I hope you are having a fantastic day. We are at Thursday, and we are almost through the week. I wish you to keep building, and keep growing.

My high school days were really crazy, especially in the end. First, I had a lot of fun. I made my first girl friend, when I was in my high school, so you can understand the environment inside my head and heart.

In my country, high school is 10th standard. And in this year, for the first time we have exams at the country level.

So before high school, the exams are internal, that means the question paper was set by the same teacher, who used to teach us. Similarly, the exam copies are checked by the same teacher.

In high school, the question paper for all the students across the country is created by a centralised body, and the exam copies are checked by random teachers across the country.

Hence, a lot fear is created around these exams, I don’t know why, humans still love fear. May be because how effective it has been for humans in history.

So we had Pre-Board exams, that were basically mimic of Final Board exams. I performed terribly in them, mainly because I knew that they are just practice papers.

But my parents didn’t know it. When my pre-board results came my marks were in single digits out of 100.

Some of my teachers went so beyond that they sweared on their decades of experience, that under no circumstances, I can pass the board exams.

I was shocked by their rudeness. It was terrible. I had 45 days between the exam results and the board exams.

I made sure that 45 days were completely utilised by me, to prepare for my exam, and without revealing the actual percentage, I can just say that I scored 4 times the marks I had in Pre-board.

I was one of the school toppers, and the school printed my photo along with other toppers in the local news paper.

I was happy, because my parents were happy. I was more happy to prove those intellectuals wrong, who claimed that I won’t make it, quoting their years of experience.

Sometimes, it feels good to prove people wrong.

I wish you a fantastic day, keep learning, keep growing.

Love and Luck.
