History and Social Science

What was your favorite subject in school?

Hello my friend, I hope you are having a great day today. Mine is also going good so far. It is raining here, so we can say that the winters are just around the corner.

I am not that fond of winters, it literally makes every movement of my body hard, especially the act of getting out of the bed. In India, Winters are chilly in North, but they are not that terrible, that people have to create their home with centralised heating.

Anyways, talking about my favourite subject in school, I really liked social science, and history, it was like knowing why people did or are doing, what they did or do.

The various factors that influence the collective intelligence of the society, make them act, do the things that are perceived important, collaborate and quarrel.

I was never too much fond of Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics, English, or any other language. Apart from all subjects I studied, I only like few.

I also liked history, again the already written ledger of what happened when. I know the history is written by the winners, so I am not sure, how much was it true, I only know, that the winners deserved to write.

Even with tainted moral compass or not, losers were not there to write anything, at the first place. And, everyone is interested in a version, rather than nothing at all.

Indian education at my time was not really great. It was more focussed on memorising stuff, basically apt for creating workers, labours, and educated slaves.

I hope, the current one, is pushing the students to be imaginative, and truly learn the life lessons, how to protect and respect themselves, and how to do people or relationship management.

Teach your child a way of life and good ethics, post which let them roam free in their imaginations.

Love them, make them feel you are there for them.

My love to you.
