What does it mean to be a kid at heart?

Hello my friends, how are you doing today? A good question today, being kid at heart is one of the best state to be in.

When I see kids playing and enjoying themselves, it bring an immediate smile on my face. Looking at their state of fearlessness, light heartedness, and endless energy fills my heart with joy.

I have a 9 years old nephew, who one day said to me, that you are an Eight years old in a big body. I felt happy that my nephew did saw a kid in me.

In fact, I think this is the best way to live. No worries of future, no regrets of past. Our memory is a clean canvas for new learnings and experiences.

When we grow up, our canvas starts filling, and leave a lot less space for new things. Hence, it is important for us to let go and forgive people.

At the same time, we have to keep ourselves away from selfish relationships, and only engage with relationships that make us feel good.

As we grow up, life makes us meet people, who often stab us at our back, but to keep our heart of a kid, we need to learn to trust people.

Though, nothing can make us as the small child we were in our childhood, but we need to keep it alive in us. Protected under the layers of tough skin, from the beatings of the world.

Say my ‘Hi’ to your inner child, tell him/her it is from another child. 🙂
