Hello,

Adding to the helplessness, there is no future relief from Corona and quarantine.

Though, we all are charged up with our plans and businesses are identifying businesses to acquire post lockdown, no one knows, when things will be going to be normal now.

We all live capitalist dreams; our complete upbringing was done applauding achievements of capitalism. And now when corona is here, our main strength of connectivity is attacked.

We have to maintain social distancing, we can’t meet, we can’t collaborate in a world preaching the wonders of the teamwork. That’s sad.

But, our investment in technology is paying quite well, Companies are running on conferencing applications.

Revenues are low or nil for now, but till when we can stop?

Our system needs to get back on track, If not all at once, but slowly in a controlled manner.

We can start by exceeding the scope of essential services. Public transport can start by keeping the norms of Public distancing. But, we humans are crazy species, we are surely going to create havoc.

I think even a single police officer at less prominent Bus stops and few on prominent ones, can regulate the crowd, assuming it not insane.

In any case, we have to take a leap of faith and trust the human instincts on personal safety.

Thanks to technological enablements, there are so many things we can do remotely.  This pandemic will air the use of automation in the manufacturing sector.

Jobs will be lost, but new ones are bound to be created. Like in Telecom, our whole digital infrastructure runs on Telecom. Especially in India, there is a huge army of individuals with technical expertise or education.

This youth can be diverted to research and development, provided there are lucrative opportunities.

Opportunities by businesses and the environment by government.

But, the bottom unskilled working class, as always they will get the hardest blow. The logistics industry will get a high boost, there will be opportunities for unskilled labor too.

Construction can’t stop, and through proper supervision construction work can be done keeping the precautions in mind.

I see businesses delaying joining dates, well, of course, there are financial issues, money can be used for current employees rather than bringing the new liabilities.

But the point they are missing is the brain and new ideas new people bring to the table. When in chaos, every lead in helpful, every idea is worth considering.

We need new ways to fight a new enemy.

We can pay people appropriately, but if a team can work on the digital infrastructure, there are no reasons to keep people away.

I think businesses need to re-define their salary structures temporarily because no matter whether we are a worker or an executive officer, we need almost the same amount of food and money to stay alive, right now.

This is the time of wealth parity, from plenty to where it is needed the most. Especially for the working-class Indian population, we might survive on 15 thousand, while we are earning 50.

At the same time, some random guy is getting nothing, it is the time to take care of all those random people. If the world is switched to the survival stage, why do we need a lot and a lot of more savings for the future?

But, of course, who will from us ask for a voluntary pay cut?

At the same time, there would be a constant tussle between our sanity and the circumstances, all we can do is steer through them.

What all loss we got, the failure we incurred, we will get another chance to prove our point, when things will re-open. There is no point in assuming ourselves weak and helpless until the right time comes.

And, as far as I have heard, there is no right time to accept failure. 🙂

If we breathing, hope is there.

Stay hopeful, keep dreaming.

All the Best.
