Hola,
Welcome to the 3rd Edition of Quarantine Times of India. A simple effort to stay connected with spirits of all of you, at these testing times.
I hope you are doing well, and not yet got insane staying inside the 4 walls of your ‘Martaban’, whatever it would be, for each of us.

All our life took an unexpected turn a few weeks back, these are the times which disturbs the equilibrium of the society and compel us to flush our orthodox ways and yearn of a new order.
Suddenly the long coming threat of global warming is no longer important because a lethal virus just appeared nullifying any other threat to humanity.
Earth has yet again shown us, that we humans are just the fortunate guest here, not the fucking ruler. I hope this experience will kick the assumptions from our heart, that this whole universe revolves around us, humans.

In these testing times, we are not shying from communalizing the coronavirus in India. Some people are doing the wrong thing to question the complete community, for the mistake of the few.
But, on the other side of the dial, there are people who are franchising the virus to their certain god. They think that they are immune to a biological disease just because they follow their god.
Well yes, we need faith to keep us going, but blind loyalty often leads to blind eyes.

Apart from so many thoughts that cross our minds, the strong need for good scientific education to each and every human is the most prominent in my mind.
I think Science is a religion, though I do not preach any religion, the basic assumption behind science is, that we don’t know everything.
The fact that science encourages curiosity, which is also in our genes, compelled humans to leave the hands of just their religion, and move on in their life, towards the more scientifically advanced world.
Does science solve all the problems we humans were facing? May be no. Some can even blame the coronavirus over scientific experiments.
Being in Lockdown, we were forcefully introduced to a minimalistic approach towards life. Things which we cry all day, maybe we don’t need them all the time, to survive.
I always talk about silver linings, one awesome thing which this lockdown is teaching us, is to ‘live with ourselves’.
I can see my friends and acquaintances doing so many creative things, some of them are focusing on drawing beautiful portraits, some of them have started writing blogs, others are cooking, and what not.
Also, some of us are getting the opportunity to spend time with our friends or family after a long time, and not to miss the lots of sex couples are getting, simply because there is nothing much else to do. *Haha.
It is quite understandable that without our knowledge we are damn frustrated from inside. The problem with building frustration is, that it is often hidden, and comes out as rage or fear.

Either we will start fighting on matters who are not important, or inside our world of thoughts, our long-buried fears will start creeping up.
The only logical thing to do at this time is to stay strong. Well, it is easier said than done, but mental strength is all mind games and chemical reactions inside our mind.
Remember, when it becomes unbearable, take a deep breath, and let the moment pass. If you know any other better way, other than yoga or meditation, and of course intoxication, do let me know.
Keep pursuing your love and curiosities.
Stay Strong, Safe, and Raw.
All the Best.
