Wrote this few days back for one of my client, who wanted to write something about single mothers, the moment I sent the finished piece, I hoped that, Please God, make her dislike it.
And guess what? God made it possible, My client said though she loved the words, she can’t take it. She wants the perspective of a fellow woman, not her child. I was elated with joy, and happily sent her something else.
I feel, today is the best day to share those words with everyone. Each word you will read below is straight from the heart of that silent and stupid kid, who never shares enough love with his/her mother, which he/she should be.
Read them and think of your mother, because all mothers are the same for their kids.
Today is Women’s day, what a day!! I got my chance to tell the most precious and sacred thing in this world, to tell you, who you are, what you really mean to me and could mean to others.
You spend night and day thinking about me, worrying about me, caring for me, fighting for me, crying for me, smiling for me, actually living for me!
I often forgot to ask, Mom, are you ok? Mom, life must be very hard right? How could I have asked, I am myself busy in my tiny affairs, who are a world to me, forgetting the fact, that I am a world to you!
I could be that month old child, who can’t speak anything yet, but I feel happy and safe when I see you every night before I sleep and every day when I wake up, I look for you.
I could be that 5th standard kid who sees you every day making breakfast for me, packing my lunch box, making sure I wear a neat uniform and have completed all my homework.
I could be that teenager, who fight with you for petty things, for your words which I don’t understand now, But I will one day.
I could be that girl, who just married her love of life, but still misses you. I could be that boy who finds encouragement, confidence and endless love in your eyes, every time I see into them.
All the fortune of this world, all the gold, platinum, diamond, every penny earned by the first person on the earth to the last person who will leave this planet, everything is worthless in front of you because you are priceless!
Whenever I am down with confidence, motivation and I feel that nothing can go right in my life. I think of you, and it fills me with endless strength and impulse, that yes, I have to do something good, for her. Something great, something to make her feel that all those sacrifices she is doing or did for me, were worth it.
I want you to feel great today, to feel happy and proud of yourself.
I want you to realize that you are capable of doing great things, which no man can ever will or ever could have, irrespective of what they did, they won a war, or countries or billions of dollars, they can never match you, and I want you to know it.
I want you to realize that power, which only you possess, which I know since the day I was born, till now.
You are divine, sacred, blissful, beautiful, guardian, lifeline, you are THE GOD! Because you are a mother!
And I want to say thank you! for being there for me every time. You are divine, YOU are God! Mom!
